Experience true magic at Værket in Randers, where world-renowned artists like Johnny Depp, Jeff Beck, and Tom Jones have given unforgettable concerts over the years. The iconic music and theater venue, located in the old, combined heat and power plant, has been the stage for an impressive array of entertainment, including comedy, musicals, lectures, dance, and theater, presented by both international stars and a variety of Danish top artists.
 

CONFUSING LEASING AGREEMENT
However, behind the scenes, Værket faced a challenge with their existing lease agreement for the hygiene solutions in the restroom facilities. The complex and opaque lease agreement made it difficult for them to understand the actual costs and manage termination notices. 

With an annual visitor rate of over 90,000 guests, it was crucial for Værket that the restroom facilities were equipped to handle the high frequency of use without incurring disproportionately high costs.

Therefore, they were looking for a more flexible, transparent, and owner-oriented solution that was easy to manage, clean, and aesthetically matched Værket's style.  
 

NEW HYGIENE SOLUTION FROM LOCAL SUPPLIER
To meet this need, Værket turned to DAN DRYER, which was already part of Værket's network. After consultations, the choice fell on the award-winning LOKI series. LOKI met all the predefined requirements like price, quality, sustainability, and design. Teaming up with DAN DRYER also ensured a smooth transition and implementation, as Værket handled the installation themselves.

KILLING TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE
The result? A double win for Værket.

“Previously, we rented all our hygiene solutions – an approach that was costly overall, but where the expenses were partly hidden because they were spread out over time. Our total annual cost, including consumption of soap, toilet paper, etc., was around DKK 230,000.

By switching to owning our own products from DAN DRYER, we invested approximately DKK 400,000 in equipment. Today, our annual cost for refills is about DKK 125,000, meaning the investment pays for itself within roughly four years.

The result is a more transparent and long-term solution, where we have full control over our finances while also benefiting from a reliable and aesthetically pleasing solution – a clear win-win,” concludes Arne Degn Nielsen, Technical Manager at Værket.
